I think I may have gotten ahead of myself. I’ve written so many articles on the importance of using a birthday number in the workplace that I assumed you knew how to find your birthday number. Let me start at the beginning. Your birthday number is the single, most important number there is. Chinese culture induces labor on certain dates of the month to avoid bringing their offspring into the world on unfavorable number vibrations. The truth is, some numbers are luckier than others.
Don’t be dismayed, however. The birthday number you have is the one your soul chose to reincarnate under in this lifetime—lucky or unlucky. You have specific life lessons, challenges, and experiences that you must complete under this vibration; and NO ONE escapes life’s lessons—no matter how easy life may appear to be.
How do you find your birthday number in numerology? First, look at your full birth date. Let’s take Malcolm, for example. He was born on June 29th. I know I said the full birth date, but the year doesn’t really apply here. Twenty-nine is his birthday number. In numerology, there’s a method of reduction called the Fadic system. The Fadic system simply means to add the digits together until you get to a single digit. In Malcolm’s case, his 29 birthday number will be reduced by adding the two and nine together to get eleven. Eleven is a Master Number, and master numbers are numbers that have a higher, healing frequency. They also have higher responsibilities and risks.
Eleven is then reduced by adding the one and one together to get two. Thus, Malcolm’s reduced birthday number is two. With this information, Malcolm would purchase his Birth Power chain and select the number two for his pendant with rubies for gemstones because he’s a Cancer.
The reduced birthday number tells a lot about a person. It’s the innate gifts, talents, and abilities with which you were born. Your soul brought these abilities in with you from previous lifetimes. So when we see a young child playing the piano like Thelonius Monk, he already did this in a previous life. He’s not truly a “child prodigy” as society will have you believe. His soul brought that ability back into this lifetime to complete an experience from a past life that may have ended prematurely or must be revisited for some karmic reason.
Let’s look at the birthday numbers, briefly.
If you were born on the 1st, 10th, 19th, or 28th of the month, you’re a 1. 1s are leaders who don’t take orders from others very well. You’re independent and wish to assert yourself in any situation. 1s like to delegate, as they seldom finish what they start. 1s have the vision, innovative ideas, and plan that others may have to execute for them.
If you were born on the 2nd, 11th, 20th, or 29th of the month, you’re a 2. 2s are the mediators and peacemakers. 2s are perceptive and intuitive. They lead from behind. 2s are sensitive and loving. They crave peace more than anything else. 2s bring harmony to situations and know how to foster teamwork. 2s can also be impatient although the energy of 2 is patience, as things don’t move quickly in a 2 cycle.
If you were born on the 3rd, 12th, 21st or 30th of the month, you’re a 3. 3s are the creative optimists who view life from the perspective of the glass being half-full. 3s love to talk. They must express themselves through some form of creativity. 3s are your singers, orators, writers, actors, photographers, dancers, painters. They socialize with everyone and make friends easily. They also like to gossip.
If you were born on the 4th, 13th, 22nd, and 31st of the month, you’re a 4. 4s are the organizers, workers, and builders. 4s think out-of-the-box to revolutionize what already exists. 4s must maintain order, structure, and discipline; and they work hard to achieve their goals. 4s cannot abuse their resources, whether it is time, people, or money. They must work efficiently. 4s are odd and unusual. They like strange people and things. 4s always take the opposite side of an argument which brings many hidden enemies as a result. 4s hold grudges and can be vengeful.
If you were born on the 5th, 14th, or 23rd of the month, you’re a 5. 5s are the freedom-lovers who crave change. 5s are the socialites, much like the 3s, who know people from all levels of society. 5s talk to anyone about anything. They like to share and receive information. 5s don’t stay in a funk too long, as they bounce back from setbacks quickly. 5s have a restless nature and are prone to addictions—sex, drugs, food, gambling—anything that feeds the senses.
If you were born on the 6th, 15th, or 24th of the month, you’re a 6. 6s love to love. 6s are the responsible caregivers and nurtures of the world. A 6’s main responsibility is their home and family. 6s have a magnetic energy that draws people to them. Much like the 5, they, too, know a lot of people. These people, however, are their community members. 6s thrive in groups of people where they feel needed and depended upon. 6s are possessive, though.
If you were born on the 7th, 16th, or 25th of the month, you’re a 7. 7s are your spiritual educators. 7s are the mystics who read, research, and reveal the truth. 7s are analytical, self-contained, and loners. 7s have a unique and sophisticated way of dressing. They like the finest things in life. They are not overly friendly, as they have a mysterious magnetism that draws people to them because they want to figure the 7 out. 7’s like all things scientific and/or esoteric, and go deep down the rabbit hole, where they can lose themselves. 7s can be crafty too.
If you were born on the 8th, 17th, or 26th of the month, you’re an 8. 8s are the misunderstood executives and bosses of society. 8s can either be huge successes or failures, and their fates usually play out on life’s stage. 8s have an intense, powerful exterior which makes them seem unapproachable and unfeeling. However, 8’s will fight for those who can’t fight for themselves and champion unpopular causes until the bitter end. This makes them have many open enemies. 8s experience a lot of loss, humiliation, and sorrow in their lives. Their intense nature makes them feel isolated, lonely, and despondent at times.
If you were born on the 9th, 18th, or 27th of the month, you’re a 9. 9s are the global humanitarians of society. 9s love to give of themselves, their time, their money, their love. 9s will give you the clothes off their backs. 9s are determined to succeed through grind and grit. This is due, in part, to the fact that they’ve had to fight throughout their entire lives to prove their worth to family members who’ve often counted them out. 9s love to lead and may lose heart easily if they fail or aren’t allowed to shine. 9s love drama and like to be the center of attention in an artistic fashion. 9s think highly of themselves and will tell you so. 9s can be explosive, quick to anger, and prone to addiction—like the five. 9s are predisposed to alcoholism.
